Pop up exhibition @ Daylesford

Drop into the Daylesford Regional Visitor Information Centre this month to see a pop-up exhibition of creative work by @ireneholub – a member of the @daylesfordarts Co-op.

Irene is a Deaf CALD artist, filmmaker, curator, director and advocate, whose interdisciplinary practice explores human connection through Deaf culture, language, and identity. Working across projection, film, performance, installation, poetry, ceramics, and multimedia, she uses visual storytelling to reveal unseen languages, lived experiences, and complex emotional landscapes.

‘While the world is screaming, I seek peace in times of solitude to hold onto that precious space of mine’. (Irene Holub)

The exhibition includes various pieces of Irene’s creative practice, including these gorgeous stoneware cups.

Multidisciplinary contemporary art exploring Deaf culture, language, identity and human connection.
Deaf-led wellbeing, counselling and creative therapies grounded in Deaf culture, language and lived experience.
